Every year, we hold a coloring contest for local 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Even though the contest is judged by age group and only 6 will win a prize, every child wins free admission to the festival. Her Majesty, Mary, Queen of Scotland, will select the winning entries by a lottery process on Sunday afternoon. Children need not be present to win the All Day Passes to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk donated by the Seaside Company.
For schools and parents: Thanks to one of our sponsors, we have a $1,000 gift certificate to Lenz Arts in Santa Cruz for art supplies awarded to the school with the most number of entries.
